URGENT CARE CLINIC

Provides prompt medical care for patients who sustain non life threatening injuries or illnesses and desire immediate medical attention:

Examples include:

• Minor injuries and lacerations

• Upper respiratory infections

• Fractures and sprains

• Sore throats/ear infections

• Abdominal pain

• Rashes

• Work-related injuries

The Urgent Care Clinic, though not intended for regular office visits, is designed to give patients fast effective service and to prevent a serious decline in your present health.

WHY URGENT CARE?

When deciding whether to go to an Emergency Room or Urgent Care Clinic consider that people with the most critical illnesses and injuries are seen first in an emergency room. If your condition is not judged to be serious, you may have to wait.

Also, you will pay a larger portion of the cost of care in an emergency room. The average cost of emergency care treatment is five times greater than at an urgent care, and ten times higher than a physician's clinic.
